1 min read

A passive microseismic monitoring technology that facilitates better reservoir management and improvisation of hydrocarbon recovery. The technique is based on full-waveform seismic numerical simulation and uses microseismic events information that occurs throughout the production life of hydrocarbon reservoirs.

Advantages of FWL technology:

  • Mobility & cost effectiveness - survey is performed from the surface ( significantly cheaper costs).

  • Best noise-immunity technique of location - maximum likelihood method

  • 3D elastic Full-Wave numerical simulation to get full signal shape

  • The inversion of the tensor of seismic moment

Applications:

  • Hydraulic reservoirs fracture monitoring.

  • Natural active fractures network mapping.

  • Monitoring of Fluid injection.

  • Thermal treatment monitoring.
